July 19, 2012 - The Billerica Girls Softball Association Middle League Championship series this season was a matchup between teams sponsored by Noonan & McDowell and Northern Bank and Trust.
In the end, Northern Bank and Trust won the title.
The Noonan & McDowell team was the 2009 Middle League Champion and had an impressive 11-3 regular-season record. The Northern Bank and Trust team had won back-to-back regular season titles, and a 14-0 record this year. Read more here.

October 22, 2009 - Those who do the most are often unwilling to receive the accolades for their hard work, instead wishing to honor those who support them.
Such was the case on the evening of the Boys and Girls Club Annual Dinner, where awards were presented for the Man, Woman, Youth and Organization of the Year. These annual honors are bestowed upon those that work the hardest to improve Billerica, usually from behind the scenes.
